Believe it or not, I’ve been immersed in the world of real estate for over half of my life! It all began long ago with my granddad and his knack for “flipping homes” (before that was even a coined term). My mother followed in his footsteps and learned many tricks of the trade, and she, in turn, shared many of those trade secrets and stories with me and my sister during our childhood, when she would invite us to tagalong on showings.

Fast forward to a young and impressionable high school student: my very first job was admin assisting at a local but very prominent broker’s office in my hometown community of Antioch, IL. I may have strayed from my initial real estate roots in choosing to pursue a college career in elementary education, but I have never strayed from identifying myself as a lifelong learner. After several years in the classroom and another couple in project management, I discovered that I had a deep desire for learning more about new homeownership, investing, and home improvement projects.

Fast forward again to Thanksgiving of 2021, the day I shared exciting news with my friends and family that I had passed my real estate exam the evening before. I can now say that I’m licensed in both the state of IL and WI.

That brings us to today: in my free time, I enjoy planning and completing DIY projects around the house, shopping at various hardware stores throughout the week, and crunching numbers on potential new real estate investment opportunities.
